Music for The soul….
Saturday, July 22nd, 2006Yep… thats right… I am gonna write about the music for the soul… For me, the songs by GMB(Giving my Best), Hillsong(church and United), Planet Shakers and many more God filled artists heals and gives my soul happiness. I remember the time I listened to artists like LP, Hip hop, songs which just sing of the depression in the world… tat made me feel so depressed and feel like the world is against me… Bout three years ago, after attending a camp for the youth of Wesley, I started to listen to christian music and slowly lost interest in the worldly songs…. The christian songs speaks of God’s love and not human love.. This is because we can never say a human’s love is ever true… NO matter how loving I am now towards my frens, one day, i will hurt the ones i love the most….. Mayb if i have a gf, she will definately get hurt by me… mayb by my words… But God’s love is different, he never hurts us. People always shout and ask God why he hates them, y He caused them great pain in their lives, but they r wrong, they caused it themselves. They just wanna look for a shortcut. To blame God……. I dun believe so any longer. God loves me so much. He has guided me in my life in KL. In college life…. Through my sufferings, all I have to do is to pray and ask Him for help and he will send angels to be with me… It is so wonderful… Last Monday, when i faced the pressure of the english presentation, i just listened to my favourites christian songs… and a sense of peace came to me… but of course, i was still nervous but better than before… another case was when i had exam… and I am the sort who gets nervous when test arrives… What i did was that i just poped my earphone in and listen to some good ol christian music and it reli does ease my nervousness….. God is indeed a great… He loves me and U… So wats holding u back from him?
